robert mallet-stevens was a modern architect who often times gets overlooked by architects such as le corbusier and mies van der rohe. mallet-stevens was a french architect who designed primarily in paris. where le corbusier looked to design internationally ... mallet-stevens stayed in paris and designed several blocks in the sixteenth arrondissement. he was born in 1886 and died in 1945 ... but his designs had incredible vision and helped pioneer the modern architecture movement. keep in mind that the structures below were built in the twenties!
